Obituary for Joanna Jean McClure
Joanna Jean McClure 78 of Handley went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 3, 2016. She was born in Bickmore, Clay County on June 5, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Ray McClure and her parents Okey and Lida Keith.
She was a member of Handley Baptist Church where she was a member of the GEM Club, and the ABW. She was a former city council member of Handley with 18 years of service.
She is survived by her children; Ann Samples (Jim) of Nitro, Jerry "Butch" Filbin (Debbie) of East Bank, Randi Bragg (Bob) of South Charleston, sister: Madge Albin (Al) of McKinney, TX., and sister-in-law Rita Brown of Handley.
Service will be 1:00PM Friday, October 7, 2016 at Handley Baptist Church with Pastor Alford Boyd and Rev. John Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Montgomery Memorial Park, London. Friends may call from 6-9 PM at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
