Johnnie Mitchell Jr. 56 of Montgomery, WV passed away July 30, 2009. Born November 11, 1952 to the late Johnnie Mitchell Sr. and Thelma Gray Mitchell, he was also preceded in death by his daughter Johnnetta Nicole Mitchell, brothers Johnnie and Edwin. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Carrie Jean Mitchell, daughters Katina Mitchell of Charleston, WV, Tanisha (Gregory) Sanders of LaPlata, MD, and Tonette Burger of Powellton, WV, brothers Gregory (Gail) of Parkersburg, WV, Roger “Happy” (Sonya) of Boomer, WV, Kentrell (Claudia) of Parkersburg, WV and grandchildren Latasha, Jazmyn, Taylun, Trevon, Tysean, Lamontica, Samir, and Wasim, uncle, aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews. Service will be at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church in Montgomery. Burial will follow in Meadow Haven Memorial Park at Ingram Branch.
