Joyce Ann Petry- 65 of Slaughters Creek, entered rest on February 5 , 2017. Born January 31, 1952 in Logan County to the late Willie David and Evelyn Toppings Adams.
Survived by her husband Harold E. Petry of 36 years, daughter Darlene G. Slack of Branchville, SC, son Larry A. Slack of Branchville, SC, step daughter Shannon Petry of Shrewburg, WV and step son Robert Petry of Charleston, WV, sisters- Barbra Stanley of Slaughters Creek, Janet Pauley & husband of Morganfield, KY, Judy Purdue and husband of Little Creek, WV, and Charlene Adams of S. Charleston, WV, brother David Adams and son of Slaughters Creek, 3 granddaughters Ashley Smith and husband, Brittany Pfaff and fiancé and Breanna Slack, 9 great-grandchildren Alexis, Brian Jr., Nicholas, Caleb, Scott, Emilee, Braxton, Kinslee, and Waylon, along with multiple nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was proceeded in death by her late father and mother Willie David Adams and Evelyn Toppings Adams, brother Ronnie Adams, sister-in- law Charlene Adams, and; nephew Cody Perdue.
A Celebration of Joyce's Life will be held on February 8, 2017 from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the home of Harold Petry and the late Joyce Ann Petry. Flowers and condolences may be sent to the home at 33 Rich Creek Rd, Cabin Creek, WV 25035. O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
