Juanita Lillian Jones Redmond age 90 of Boomer died July 25, 2009. She was born January 9, 1919 in Boone County, WV and was the daughter of the late Herbert Jones and Fairlea Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Allen Redmond and a son Michael Redmond.
She was a member of Boomer Baptist Church and she was a graduate of the former Laird Memorial Hospital School of Nursing as a LPN and she worked at the Gauley Bridge Clinic. She was very artistic in painting of ceramics and tole painting and flower designing.
Surviving: son Larry Redmond of Indian Mills; sister Mary Stear of Kansas; brother Richard Jones of Studio City, Calif.; 4 grandsons, 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter.
Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor James Neeson officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Park at Hinton. Friends may call one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com.
