Obituary for Judy Kay Hypes
Judy Kay Hypes, 76, of Powellton died January 26, 2022. She was born in Oliver Springs, TN. On May 25, 1945, to the late Charles and Louise Echols Davis. Along with her parents, she predeceased by her husband Howard Hypes and grandson Joseph Luke.
She was an attendee of the Powellton United Methodist Church. She will be remembered as a lifelong hardworking and supportive wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons; Howard Allen Hypes (Shawn) of Powellton, Richard Lynn Hypes (Sherry) of Cochran, GA., Michael Todd Hypes of Powellton, grandchildren; Joshua, Michael, Shane, and Savannah. Great-grandchildren; Parker, Julie, Aubrey, Eli, and Katie. Along with numerous siblings and cousins.
Service will be held at noon on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. Burial will follow at Liberty Methodist Church Cemetery in Ramsey. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
