Julie E. “Marge” Jarvis of Montgomery went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2011. She was born May 26, 1926 in Wallback and was the daughter of the late L. H. and Willa Cruikshanks. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Ann, Sharon and Helen and brothers Ben, Charles, Cliff and John and her grandson Jeremy Jarvis.
She is survived by her four sons Gary Jarvis and his wife Ezell of Glen Ferris, Mark Jarvis of Culpepper, VA, John Jarvis and his wife Debbie of Mt. Lookout and James Jarvis and his wife Darlana of Florida; 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and eight great-grandchildren; brothers Bob and Ralph and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Jeff Floyd and Rev. Jackie Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
