Obituary for June A. Wills

June A. Wills age 81 of Montgomery died January 1, 2013 in Charleston after a long illness. She was born June 22 1931 in Chrichton, WV as June A. Akers. She was married to Homer Wills, Jr. on June 28, 1952.
She was a partner in Pieper & Wills Associates, an accounting firm in Gauley Bridge until her retirement in 1993. June was a graduate of West Virginia Institute of Technology and Chrichton High School. She was a long time resident of the Gauley Bridge area.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Wills Jr.; both of her parents John Q. and Emma Chrisman Akers; brothers John Akers and Wesley Akers.
She is survived by a sister, Martha Tilley of Charlton Heights; brother Ray Alers of Kathleen, GA.; children Deborah of Charlton Heights, Vickie of Montgomery, Diana Eades of Fayetteville, and Rodney of Montgomery. She had four grandchildren, Jeremy Wills of Pratt, Tessa Hypes of Scarbo, Mallory Eades of Hico, and Patrick McKnight of Montgomery, and three great grandchildren Isabella Hypes, Elayna Wills and Elliott Hypes
June Wills was a long time supporter of Disabled American Veterans. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please send donations to the Disabled American Veterans.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 7:30 PM at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Fr. John Rice officiating. Friends may call from 7:00 PM until time of service.
