Obituary for Kathleen Nancy Russell

Kathleen Nancy Russell age 70 of Holley died April 1, 2011. She was born December 28, 1932 in Raleigh County and was the daughter of the late Jesse James and Violet Stover Marten. She was also predeceased by her husband of 54 years Jack Russell; sister and brother-in-law Phyllis and Basil Nunn; brothers Calvin, Robert and Curtis and his wife Yvonne Martin; in-laws Jimmy Russell and his wife Louise, David and Toots Russell, Shirley Webb, Leila Russell and Jack Petry.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and sister. She was a Christian and a lifelong resident of Cabin Creek.
Surviving: sons Jack Russell Jr. and his wife Teresa of Holley, Robert “Bob” Russell of Hernshaw and his fiancé Lora Young and Danny Russell and his wife Sherry of Campbells Creek; daughter Betty Rogers and her husband Jimmy of Giles; brothers Jesse Martin and his wife Nona of Giles and Michael Martin and his wife Cathy of Holley; sister-in-laws Janet Russell of Quarrier, Eva Martin of Holley and Shelby Stanley and her husband Kenneth of Cleveland, Ohio; brother-in-laws Richard Russell of Strongsville, Ohio and Bo Russell and wife Lillian of Seth; grandchildren Jack Christopher and Paul Russell, Jimmy and Don Rogers, Nancy Armentrout and Robby Russell and Wyatt Russell; 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The family thanks the Hubbard Hospice House for their wonderful care.
Service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Norwood Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow.
