Condolence: Though we only knew one another online through Facebook, Lana was a friend who support me through my daughters' battles with histio. I will miss her wonderful spirit of encouragement and caring.

Condolence: Lana, although we never met in person and lived on different sides of the world, we will never forget your kindness, words of encouragement and your beautiful, positive outlook on life. Thank you for all the wonderful things you said about our histio angel Joey. We are so thankful to have met you through our Histio Family and will forver keep you in our hearts.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Lana's passing. Shw was such a kind & warm Lady who always had a word of encourgement for everyone. Although I never had the pleasure of knowing Lana away from Facebook Histiocytosis groups, I feel blessed to have had that opportunity. I wish the Leake Family peace and comfort during these most difficult days, and pray that Lana is now healed in the loving arms of the Lord.

Condolence: Dearest Leake Family,
Lana has been such a wonderful friend and support over the last 18 months. We "met" in Our Histio Family on Facebook after my son was diagnosed with Histiocytosis. Her constant uplifting and encouragement to me as a mother was something I think I took for granted. I knew if I needed to whine, she would be there to listen then tell me what I needed to do or to hear. She rejoiced as much as we did when he went into remission. I will miss her presence online and am deeply saddened that we were never able to meet in person.
Thank you for sharing her with those of us online, your selflessness knows no bounds.

Your kind words and support always made me think ....what an amazing person you are....though you were fighting the most extrememly difficult battle, you always lent support to others. I can only imagine the hole you have left in your family and circle of friends. May you always fly high.....you will be truly missed~~

Condolence: I "met" Lana through the histio family site as my 16 yr old son has been afflicted with LCH since 2009. I didn't know Lana well but the interactions I did have with her were always very heart-warming. She had a calming nature to her and was genuinely concerned about others. Our sincere condolences to the entire family at the loss of a beautiful soul.
