Lewis D. Massey, 76, of Handley died January 25, 2011. He was born November 3, 1934 in Burnwell, and was the son of the late William and Florence Thompson Massey. He was also preceded in death by his wife Edna Massey a sister Vona Ruth Faulkner and a daughter-in-law Shelia Massey.
He is survived by sons; William Frank and wife Toni, Lewis Matthew and wife Janet, Damon Ray and wife Janet, grand children; Sarah Massey, Laura Blackburn, Jennifer Massey, Andrew Massey and David Cooper, great-grand children; Kade Freas and Edna-Grace Blackburn, brothers; Joe and Wilburn Massey, sisters; Emma Skaggs, Katherine Prather, Betty Bowling, Janie Earls, Dora Johnson, Nora Dalton, Judy Syler, Margaret Massey, Mary Messer, Linda Clark, and Juanita Yurkovich, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Lewis Villers and Rev. Scottie Messer officiating. Burial will follow in Green Castle Cemetery at Green Castle on Paint Creek. Friends may call from 7 PM until 9 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
