Margaret Louise Philpott age 87 of Deep Water died July 13, 2009 in Montgomery General Extended Care Unit. She was born November 27, 1921 at Kingston, WV and was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar and Margaret Ann Jarrett Hazelwood. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clair D. Philpott; sisters Virginia Hazelwood and Mildred McClure; brother Charles “Bud” Hazelwood and grandson Michael Coleman.
She was a very active long standing member of Deep Water Baptist Church and a lifelone resident of Deep Water.
Survivors Daughter Shirley Keenan and her husband Hank of Hugheston; sons Donald Eddie Philpott and his wife Linda of Kadcliff, KY, Gary Philpott and his wife Glenna of Robson, WV, and Danny Philpott and his wife Linda of Port Orange, FL; step-daughter Colleen Crist of Oak Hill, WV; brother William Hazelwood and his wife Mildred of Hansford; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Stephen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow.
