Condolence: Dear Mark,

As your father, I have tried to wrap my mind around your passing. It’s very difficult and the grief washes over me in waves. Yet, there are these things I want share with our family.

I have fond memories of you as a little boy. We have loved and prayed for you as you grew to be a man. We have witnessed the love you have for your wife and children through our countless conversations over the years. For all of these things we are thankful.

However, the one thing for which I am most proud is your commitment to Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. I am privileged as your father to share the gospel with you, and help lead you to Jesus Christ. This, Mark, is the most important thing about your life. It is this truth that your four children can take with them. It is the legacy of God’s love that you have left for Matthew, Sean, Tori, and Hannah.

Mark, you are loved and will be forever in our hearts.
