Mary Elizabeth "Bibby" Henley age 95 of Kenna passed from this life on September 24, 2012 at home. She was born May 10, 1917 in the small coal mining community of Elkridge, WV and was the daughter of the late Leslie and Geneva Hoffman Redman. She was also preceded in death by her husband John Henley, brothers Tom Redman, Don Redman and Leslie Redman Jr.; sisters Arbutus Turley and Carrie Belle Armstrong.
Surviving: children Patricia Legg and her husband Jack of Victor, Martha "Marty" Faulds Martin of Winfield, Donna Cunningham and her husband Buddy of Powellton, Roy Painter Jr. and his wife Judy of Bancroft, Jeannie Wray of Winfield, Rick Redman Sr. of Kenna; 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; sister Lucille Scott of Powellton and many nephews and nieces.
Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Elkridge Community Church with Rev. Roy Painter Jr. and her son Rick Redman Sr. officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
