Obituary for Michael Lynn Falbo

Michael Lynn Falbo
Michael L. Falbo
10/4/50 10/31/14

Legendary bass guitarist, philosopher, warrior, poet, rebel with many causes, seeker of profound truths, avid student of humanity, and the rock of his family, Michael passed away peacefully Friday morning after a short but courageous battle with liver cancer.

Music and family were common threads throughout his life. He played in numerous bands in the area, most notably Warbux, Sudden Impact, and the Stan McDaniels band. Inspired by the revolution of the 1960s, Michael traveled the world by foot, thumb, and Harley, finding adventure and misadventure along the way. His love of large machinery culminated in a long and enjoyable career with DitchWitch.

Mike was preceded in death by Peggy Falbo, his beloved little sister, big brother Frankie, father Frank, mother-in-law Ethel Moore, and brother-in-law David Moore. Survived by devoted and loving wife Kathy Moore Falbo, son Michael Benjamin Falbo (Brittany Mills) and daughter April Johnson (Donnie), grandchildren Dusty Ray and Kendra Johnson, La'Nya and Ty'Lil Mills, mother Margaret C. Falbo, sister Mary Beth Falbo (Winfield H. Strock), brothers Anthony, Patrick, and Greg, and numerous other wonderful friends and family.

Visitation will take place at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery from 5:30 until 9pm Monday, November 3rd, with a Christian Wake Service at 8:00 with Father Mark Gallipeau presiding.

'Cause I'm a picker, I'm a grinner
I'm a lover and I'm a sinner
I play my music in the sun
