Obituary for Mildred Pauline Adkins (Holfield)
Mildred Pauline Holfield Adkins 87 of Handley, died November 25, 2014. She was born February 27, 1927 in WV and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie Fish Holfield. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by hr husband Sherley Adkins and daughter Shirley Marie Pecora.
Heaven received the best mother and grandmother, who loved and cared for her family until the Lord called her home.
She was a retired Telephone Operator from Montgomery General Hospital in Montgomery.
Left to cherish her memories are son David Adkins and wife Betty; daughters Connie Turley and husband Mike, Linda Gray, Jane Branovich and Mary Brown and husband Toney; grandchildren Ray, Keith, Michael, Amy, Larry, Paula, Maggie, Amanda, Tiffany, Shanty and David; 14 great grandchildren; brothers Jimmy Holfield of OH and Buddy Holfield and his wife Mary Ruth; sister Drema "Dee Dee".
Per her request there will be no service or visitation. O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
