Obituary for Mildred Marie King
Mildred Marie King born February 28, 1929 to the late James and Mary Scruggs of Handley, WV. She was a homemaker and worked for Laird Memorial Hospital as a nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence King Sr; granddaughter, Lydia Brandon, sons, Clarence King Jr and Anthony King, son in law, Joseph Brandon and a grandson in law, Charles Brown Jr.
Mildred M. King joined in fellowship with First Baptist Church Kimberly, WV, she departed this life February 12, 2014. Leaving to mourn her loss are her sister, Mary Arlene Ford of Handley, daughters; Vivian Perkins of Atlanta, GA, Demetris A. Floyd of Charlottesville, VA and Sandretta Brandon of Handley and one son, Michael King of Cleveland, OH; 13 grandkids and 16 great grandkids.
Homegoing will be noon Saturday February 22, 2014 at The First Baptist Church of Kimberly with Rev. Larry R. Smith, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery is in charge of arrangements.
