Obituary for Mitchell Lee Copeland
Mitchell Lee Copeland age 34 of Montgomery died September 18, 2016. He was born April 7, 1982 in Montgomery and he was the son of Mitchell Jay and Loretta Mae Zickafoose Copeland.
He was a former loader operator for Kanawha River Terminals at Quincy and he had formerly coached the New Haven Little League Colts Boys Football. He was former president of the league having taken the team that was financially in the red along with his wife Wendy Copeland dedicated their work and time to bring the team into a financial plus. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving: children Dayton and Cassie Copeland of Hico; parents Mitchell and Loretta Copeland of Montgomery; former wife and mother of his children, Wendy Copeland Neal of Hico; grandmother Geraldine Zickafoose of Montgomery; 2nd mom and aunt Nancy Emeline of Boomer and also he was raised together as cousins /brothers and sisters Kenneth Chadwell Jr. of Cannelton and Melissa Johnson of Cannleton.
Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor Otis Linville officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Friends may call on Friday 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
