Norman Keith “Boo Boo” Byars, age 54, of Boomer, WV entered into eternal rest on January 7, 2016 at Saint Francis Hospital, Charleston, WV. He was the son of the late Nolan B. Byars and Eva Randall Byars. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Boomer and a graduate of Gauley Bridge High School. Norman was preceded in death by a nephew Lowell David Smith, Jr.
Norman is survived by his brothers Nolan of Charleston, WV and Nathan of Boomer, WV; sisters Anita (Tony) Smith of Dunbar, WV and Sandra (Seth) Jones of Fairfax, VA; nephews Lee (Shalunda) Smith of Charleston, WV; Victor (Nicole) Jones of Upper Marlboro, MD and Raymond (Christiana) Jones of Fort Worth, TX and aunt Mrs. Emma Johnson of Selma, AL. One great niece and five great nephews; special friend Neicy Williams and many cousins and friends.
Per his wishes Norman has been cremated and his final resting is Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV. The family is being served by O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, WV. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Expressions of sympathy can be sent at www.odellfuneralhome.com
