Ray Withrow age 79 of Boomer went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2011. He was born April 14, 1931 at Ward and was the son of the late Simpson and Almedia Mooney Withrow.
He was retired from Bethlehem Steel and member of the United Mine Workers and a member of the Eagles Aerie 1040 in Montgomery.
Surviving: wife June Withrow; daughter Diana Kindhart of St. Albans; sons David Withrow and his wife Shawn of Falls View, Donald Withrow and his wife Valerie of Sanford, Fla and Douglas Withrow and his wife Michelle of Wingate, NC; sister Irene Meiner of Cincinnati, OH. 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Ray was a resident at Ansted Center. His family would like to extend our thanks to their staff for being so kind and helpful.
Service will be 2:00 PM Monday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. James Neesen officiating. Entombment will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Friends may call 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home.
