In loving memory of Richard Lee Stanley 61of Deep Water, born May 18, 1952 passed on January 30, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston after a long illness. He was the son of the late Buster and Betty Burnett Stanley. He is also preceded in death by his sister Janet, brother Robert (Bobby) and two grandchildren Abigail and Charles Atha.

Surviving his wife Altha Stanley; sons, Richard Stanley and wife Flo of Deep Water, Christopher Stanley of Deep Water; daughter Kim Raymer and husband Benny of Nashville, TN; grandsons Christopher (Sketterbug) of Deep Water, Stepfan of Cabin Creek, Roger, Robert, Rider all of TN; granddaughter Jamie of TN; great granddaughter Lily of TN; sisters Theda Marty of WV and Mary Wiseman of VA; brother Harry Stanley of VA; mother-in-law Mae Atha of Deep Water.

Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, with Rev Eddie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park, London.

Friends may call two hours prior the service at the funeral home.
