Obituary for Robert Terrence Hardy
Robert Terrence Hardy age 84 of Pratt died February 24, 2015 at home. He was born August 22, 1930 in Montgomery and was the son of the late Claude Terrance and Mary Hartsel Davis Hardy.
He was a member of Old Kanawha Baptist Church in Pratt and he was a retired engineering technician from Appalachian Power Company's Kanawha River Plant at Glasgow with 40 years of service.
Surviving is his wife of 62 years Betty Hardy; children Joseph Terrence Hardy of West Bloomfield, Mich., David J. Hardy and his wife Nadia of Charleston and Jennifer Shelton and her husband John of Charleston; sisters Janice Mathews of Trenton, Michigan and Rosalie Saye of Ypsilanti, Michigan; grandchildren Brentt Terrence Hardy, Scott Robert Hardy, Kristen Marie Hardy and Lauren Brooke Shelton.
Service will be 12:00 noon Saturday at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Pastor David Baughan officiating. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
