We are heartbroken to announce the death of our father Robert Lewis Lovejoy Sr. who died on November, 3 at Hubbard Hospice House. Robert passed away surrounded by his family after battling cancer. Dad will always hold a special place in our hearts. He was a jack of all traits but a master of none. Dad is preceded in death by his parents Algi and Macel Lovejoy; brothers Ernest and Jr. Lovejoy; sister Peggy Stewart; wife Sherry Adaire Lovejoy; daughter Melinda Lovejoy; granddaughter Tesa Ewing. Robert loved working on cars and trading. He loved to pass on life teachings and loved his family more than anything. Robert is survived by his sons Roger Burrows, Robert Jr. (Terri) Lovejoy; daughters Bobbie (David) Ewing, Sherry Ballard; 10 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild. The family wishes to give a special thank you to Jeannette Young for all of her help and support, we love you. Service will be held on Friday at 1:30 PM at O’Dell Funeral Home with Pastor Brenda Neal officiating. Burial will be held at Montgomery Memorial Park in London, WV.
