Ronnie Lee Burgess age 66 of Amesville, OH formerly of Elkridge passed peacefully from this mortal life to his life forever more on Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was at home surrounded by family and He will be greatly missed. He was born April 14, 1948 at Sanderson and was the son of the late Okey and Elizabeth Keeling Burgess. He was a high school graduate of Montgomery High School and served for our country in the Army during Vietnam. He previously worked for R.J. Reynolds (Aurora, OH) and after 38years, retired from Viskase, in the beautiful country area near Athens Ohio.
Ronnie recently accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and Ronnie loved to hunt and fish.

On January 9, 2012 Ronnie married Tresa (Humphreys) Burgess who survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Regina Lea Ware(Phoenix) AZ and Suzzanne (Kenny) Bower of Mansfield, OH, as well as two sons, Ryan (Natalie) Burgess of Streetsboro, OH and Larry (Stephanie Brown) Burgess of Kent, OH and a stepdaughter Nikki Jo Novak. Ronnie has 7 grandchildren that will miss their PawPaw. Storm and Korissa Ware, Tyler and Trinity Burgess, Brendel and Bayleigh Bower and Logan Burgess; brother Don Burgess of Elkins and sister Linda Estep of Powellton.

Service will be 1:30 PM Tuesday December 23, 2014 at O'Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery with Rev. Butch Painter officiating. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow with military honors. Friends may call 2 hours prior to service at the funeral home.
