Obituary for Sharon Kay DiVita

Sharon Kay Di Vita, 60, a resident of Neptune Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2009 with her loving and devoted husband by her side after an eight year battle with Scleroderma. She was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother. Sharon was born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 20, 1948. She attended Gauley Bridge Valley High School in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia and obtained her Associates degree from the West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia. Her family members include Thomas Lee DiVita, her loving husband of 31 years; her parents, Floyd and Rhoda Keeney; her brother, Randy Keeney; daughters, Crista Marie Bridges and Jennifer Dawn Ruliva; twin sons, Thomas Lee DiVita, II, and Patrick William DiVita; and grandchildren, Ainsley Bridges, Taylor Di Vita, and Morgan DiVita. As a committed member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Sharon loved the Lord and was excited to be with Him in Heaven. We will celebrate her life with a Holy Rosary Vigil on Thursday May 14, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Rosary will begin at 7:30 p.m.) at Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 224 North Fifth Street, Jacksonville Beach, Florida on Friday, May 15, 2009, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a graveside service at the Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery located at 4750 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
