Shawnna Rae McComas Goudy, 44, of Smithers, WV passed away unexpectedly on September 3, 2010 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 22, 1966 to Johnny R. McComas and Lillie Elizabeth “Liz” McComas. She was an LPN for 18 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and animals, and vacationing at the beach. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Charles “Brownie” and Katherine Marie McCallister and Charles “Swinney” and Shirley McComas.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Alonzo Goudy of Smithers; daughters, Chelsea Acey of Smithers and Haley McComas of Oak Hill, WV; grandson, Micah Fitzwilliams of Oak Hill; brothers, Scott Emil McComas of Smithers and John Eric McComas, wife, Ann, and song, Nicholas and Alexander, of Charleston, WV; and step-father, Bruce Parsons of Smithers. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 7, at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery, WV with Bishop Sam R. Calloway, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the funeral service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Montgomery. All friends and family are encouraged to attend.
