Obituary for Steven Elmer Johnson




Steven E. Johnson was born February 2, 1955, at Charlton Heights, WV. He passed away on November 27, 2021, in Montgomery, WV. He was 66 years old. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer “Bug” Johnson and Juanita Evangeline Johnson; his daughter Melissa Dawn Holloman, and his brother-in-law John Burkhamer.

He was a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his son; Christopher Steven Johnson, four sisters; Sharon Burkhamer, Rose Kurzyna (Steve), Robin Richmond (Johnnie), Janie White (David), five grandchildren, one great-granchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

Service will be at noon on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at the Hughes Creek Community Church in Hugheston with Military Honors from the US Navy and American Legion Post 93. Pastor Gary H. Tucker will be officiating. Friends may call from 11AM till time of service at the church.
