Susan Jane  Nester (n’ee Brady)
Susan Jane Nester (née Brady), 80, of Falls View, WV passed away in Louisville, KY on January 4, 2024, with her daughters at her side. She was born on July 15, 1943, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Thomas & Margaret Brady. She graduated from Little Flower High School in Philadelphia and Sacred Heart Nursing School in Allentown, PA. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Montgomery General Hospital where she touched the lives of countless patients and colleagues with her compassion, professionalism, and kindness.

Susan was a devoted sister, wife, mother, aunt, and Mom Mom who always put the needs of others before her own. She married Ernie Nester in 1966 and they shared 46 years of marriage until his death in 2013. She is survived by her two daughters, Jane Stewart (Christan Stewart) and Nancy Nester (Brian Coon), and her grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Zach, Hannah & Chance Hudnall and Daniel & Noah Stewart, who were the joys of her life. She is also survived by her siblings Peggy Ann Hennessy, Marcie, Tim, Sean & Andrew Brady, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Michael and Mark Brady

Susan was always an active volunteer in her community, with the North Fayette Food Pantry being her passion later in life. She will be remembered for her incredibly generous spirit and her dedication to the community.

A celebration of Susan's life will be held at Falls View Presbyterian Church on Saturday, January 13, 2024, with visitation at 10am followed by funeral at 11am. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Victor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Fayette Food Pantry or the Ernie Nester Chapter of Trout Unlimited.
