Obituary for Terry DeWayne Wattie

Terry Dewayne Wattie was born on May 17, 1963, to the late Virgle and Dorothy Wattie. He was born and raised in Montgomery, West Virginia and he departed this life peacefully on March 7, 2016, after a short illness.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Beverly Wattie.

He was an employee of Montgomery General Hospital Elderly Care until his death.

He leaves to mourn three sisters: Imani Davis (Atiba) of Kennesaw, Georgia; Rita (Garfield) Bohanna of Boomer, WV; and Rhonda (Larry) Lewis of Columbus, OH; three brothers: Gary (Gail) Wattie of Chadds Ford, PA; Darrell Wattie of Montgomery; and Anthony Price (Ruby) of Montgomery; three children; Michael Austin of Vienna, WV; Delisha Folden of Huntington, WV; and Tiara Hamm of Atlanta, GA; one stepson Antonio Hamm, and one stepdaughter Shay Hamm; 9 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; two aunts Hazel Menser and Ann Brantley of Harlan, Kentucky, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 11, 2016, at 1PM at St. John Baptist Church of Morris Drive with the Rev. A. Douglas Mullins officiating. Burial will follow at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
