Vernon Eugene Doss, 75, of Gallagher passed away on February 10, 2022. He was born on January 15, 1947, in Montgomery to the late Eugene and Gwendolyn Harris Doss. Also preceding him death are, son Nathan Doss, brother Terry Doss, sister, Leslie, and his beloved dog Pasco.

He was a retired coal miner with Cannelton Industries, and a member of the UMWA district 17 and he was a veteran of the US Navy.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Wills Doss, children Jeff Doss, Sara Sears (Daniel), Jonathan, and Skylar Angel. Stepchildren Chris Angel, Tiffany Angel, 2 grandchildren, Axel and Eli Dakota, Haven, Kaseton, Jayden, Hayley, Cameron,


Sisters, Patsy, Sandee, Donna, Sherri, former wife and mother of his children, Sherry Doss of Montgomery.
