Wanda Jewell Howery, 66, of Montgomery, WV traded this world for her mansion in heaven on July 25, 2015. She was born December 18, 1948 in Marting, WV.
Wanda was a lifelong resident of the Montgomery area. She was a waitress for many years which endeared her to all who met her. She also found great joy acting and singing with various theatre companies. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, song writing, singing, crocheting and playing guitar. Above all, Wanda's greatest love was for her three daughters and her grandchildren.

Wanda was the daughter of the late John Wesley Howery and Lillian (Fleming) Howery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two grandsons, Daniel Morgan and Evan Moore, and her sisters Mary Rose Laing, Nanci Thornton and Joyce "Bo Bo" Honaker.

Wanda is survived by her three daughters Tammy Scott (fiancé Steven Hunt) of Fairfax, VA, Crista Taylor (husband Paul Taylor) and Jaime Moore (husband Keith Moore), both of South Charleston, WV. The lights of her life were her grandchildren Khaleb Moore, Allyson Scott, Julia Scott, Katlyn Honaker and Kamryn Moore. Wanda's surviving siblings include Patricia Richmond (husband Keith), Butler "Chipper" Howery (wife Becky), Rebecca Gwinn (husband Steve), Linda Pierse (husband Frank) and Karen Garris (husband Otie).

She was considered a "second mom" to all of her nieces and nephews as well as many others.

Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2015 at O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, WV with Pastor Bob Van Fassen and Rev. Joseph Moore officiating.
