Obituary for William Scott Pleva

William Scott Pleva, 43, of DeepWater went home to be with the Lord on August 6, 2013 at CAMC General Division.

Scott was born November 23, 1969 at Charleston Memorial Hospital, Charleston, West Virginia. Scott was a member of The First Baptist Church of Kimberly. He attended DuPont High School and was an employee of Walker-Cat Machinery Company in Belle, WV. Scott was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved the outdoors and spending time with his girls.

Scott was a loving son, father, brother and husband.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Jessie J. Mullins and his father in law Leon Newman, Jr.

Scott leaves behind his loving wife Daliah Pleva; two daughters Lauren and Danae Pleva of DeepWater; mother and stepfather Linda and Donnie Gibson of Campbells Creek; father William Byers of Elkview; two sisters Lisa Pleva of Campbell's Creek and Rhonda Pleva of Charleston; one brother Joshua Pleva and his wife Jessica of Campbell's creek; nephew Justin Pleva of Charleston; uncle Ray Vaughan of Campbell's Creek; and a host of extended family and friends.

A Homegoing celebration for Scott will be held 1:00 pm Saturday August 10, 2013 at The First Baptist Church of Kimberly with Pastor Larry Smith. Burial will follow in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens at Glasgow. Visitation with the family will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.
