Wilma Louise Sigmon 86 of Powellton died November 18, 2016. She was born February 27, 1930 in Griffithville to the late Hallie and Dorothy Wall Stowers. She was also predeceased by her husband of over 60 years whom she married July 1, 1950 Virgil Sigmon and daughters Connie Bowen and Caroline Sigmon and grandchildren Keith and Candice Parker her brother Villard Stowers and sister Velma Tabor.

She was a member of the Elkridge Community Church for over 60 years. She was a loving mother of heart to so many we may never know.

She is survived by her son; Virgil "Steve" Sigmon of Kimberly, daughters; Bonnie Bragg of Kimberly, Kathy Tackett of Cross Lanes, and Karen Rhodes of Cross Lanes. Brothers; Dallas and Luther Stowers, sisters; Imogene Black and Nelma Ruth Smith. Grandchildren; Tina Bell, Angela Giacomo, Stephanie Cantley, and Taylor Sigmon, great-grandchildren; Britny, Jeniffer, Chad, Billie Jean, Alyssa, and Savannah. Great-great grandchildren Veronica and Braxton.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Elkridge Community Church with Pastor Brenda Neal and Rev. Chuck Cunningham officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church for dinner and visitation with the family.
