I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your father, Donnie. I understand the pain of your loss. Be assured that the Bible promises that the time will come when those we have lost in death can live again through a resurrection. Jesus Christ gave his life so that those we have lost would have that opportunity. (Acts 24:15). Look forward to the time when those we have lost in death will live again and never get sick, grow old or die. (Rev. 21:3, 4). Your father was a very kind man. I remember spending many hours with your mother and your father when growing up. They were very accommodating to young people. Donnie used to let us grade his school papers. Your parents would let us sit and watch TV for hours in their home. I have very fond memories of the time that I was able to spend with them. I know that you will miss them greatly. My prayers are with you all.
