Henry Michael Stephens age 61 of Hardy, Virginia formerly of Charlton Heights died October 4, 2011. He was born March 18, 1950 in Wheeling, WV and was the son of the late Henry M. and Stella Ostrom Stephens.
He was a financial advisor and he was a member of the Eagles Aier #4344 and the Loyal Order of Moose. He was a EMT and very active in the beginning years of Valley Ambulance Service in Alloy. He was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and a member of the SCRUGG Rescue Squad in Hardy. He was a Boy Scot Leader and active in the Muscular Dystrophy summer camp.
Surviving: wife Sherri Basford Stephens; children Shane Stephens and his wife Tammy of Chelyan, Ann Larese and her husband Marc of Norene, Tenn. and Adam Stephens and his wife Jessica of Fayetteville; grandchildren Hunter, Hailey, Devyn, Rayne, Joey and Alex.
Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at O’Dell Funeral Home, Montgomery. Burial will follow in Montgomery Memorial Park at London. Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
