Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Condolence: Sherri, family and friends - you have my deepest sympathy on Mike's passing. It was an honor to get to know him during our many trips to the lake. It was so much fun talking to him and learning about what he loved about the lake. He will be sorely missed!

Condolence: Sherri, You been lucky in life to have spent many years with your solmate and bestfriend. The memories were endless. Cherish them Shane, Ann, and Adam, the loss of a father is something your heart feels for a long time and you will want to pick up the phone and call him with just a thought but know wherever you are he is listening anytime. With a smile and his gentle sense of humor. Grandkids may forget Grandpa but you can help with that. So that someday they can say yes I do remember Grandpa Mike To his many friends they met all over the US. I know he will be missed by you. But I know you made great memories either riding the bike,boating,camping, or just hanging out in life. Remember that fire you sat around and talked about the stupid little things in life. These are the times to remember. Depend on friends to call, and help you with the lonely times you may feel. They will be there for you and your family. I know I will cherish our memories of growing up and getting away with many things when our Mom's got together, I think they just wanted to get rid of us. But that was ok, we loved it. So rest in peace Mike and I am sorry to tell you like the many signs you saw along life's road, NO HARLEY'S in heaven.

Condolence: Sherri, So sorry to hear about Mike. I had the privilege of getting to meet him and being a guest in your home! It was a wonderful time and it would not have been the same memory without the two of you being a part of it! With that single gesture alone, of the both of you opening your home to someone you did not know, shows the kind of person Mike was and you are. Condolence: I am sad to hear the news this morning. I am truly sorry to hear about Mikes passing and will be thinking of you all. I had many great memory's growing up with Mike and the family, from the Scouts,camping, Smith Mountain Lake (my favorite experience) and Hargrave. This past summer is when I finally reconnected with Mike and Sherri on Facebook.
