Dearest Leake Family, Lana has been such a wonderful friend and support over the last 18 months. We "met" in Our Histio Family on Facebook after my son was diagnosed with Histiocytosis. Her constant uplifting and encouragement to me as a mother was something I think I took for granted. I knew if I needed to whine, she would be there to listen then tell me what I needed to do or to hear. She rejoiced as much as we did when he went into remission. I will miss her presence online and am deeply saddened that we were never able to meet in person. Thank you for sharing her with those of us online, your selflessness knows no bounds.
