Michael Paul Southall age 58 passed away suddenly on Monday, June 23, 2014 at his home in Marmet, WV. He was born on November 4, 1955 to Marlene Southall and the late Charles Southall. He grew up in South Charleston, WV and attended South Charleston High School. Michael worked off shore on oil rigs in New Orleans, Louisiana for many years until he became disabled and returned to West Virginia. Michael was avid fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers; he also loved to fish and camp in the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Southall, and his brother Charles Southall Jr.

He is survived by his mother Marlene Southall of St. Albans; children, Sergio Southall of Charleston and Simona Southall of Kimberly; ex-wife Christine Gillispie of Charleston; brother, Dana Southall (Rose) of St. Albans; sisters, Debbie Armentrout (Ruel) of Scott Depot, Terry Backhus (Bob) of Scott Depot, Betty McCallum of Dunbar; a host of nieces and nephews; and life long friend Timothy Sneed (Alice) of South Charleston.

Michael will forever be sadly missed by his family and friends.
